This is an installation and community-engaged project to promote the act of storytelling and sharing. I created ten items of personal significance that sparked a memory for me. A blog was started to promote each items story, and allowed for others to share their own story in the comment section with the use of prompt. I used decal transfers to paste a QR code that connected people to the blog for engagement, along with the phrase, “Read a Story, Tell a Story.” The items were then distributed around my Universities campus for a day and I later returned to collect them. By placing these items in public spaces, I wanted to allow people to stop, reflect and perhaps find a gratitude within their own stories.
